Todd's Birthday

Yesterday was Todd's birthday and both Soren and Tommy helped in their own way. Tommy helped me make Todd's lemon buttermilk cake by testing out all my utensils to make sure they were up for the job.

 My first birthday banner!  Soren was the one who actually strung it together, which is why the letters are a little mixed up.  I wish, the sign hung there all day without me even noticing until my sister mentioned something after I sent her a picture.  Turns out my English degree is worth nothing when my children won't allow me ten minutes to relax!

 

Todd wanted some music he listened to back in the day in high school so Soren helped him unwrap those.  Soren couldn't commit to the full unwrapping process.  He would rip about half the paper then hand over the present and start on the next one.

 Soren was suppose to help Todd blow out the candles, but he was so giddy he just stood there and laughed saying, "hot, hot."

 Happy birthday Todd!  It's his last year in the 20s.  It'll be the best year yet because we'll have a job next summer!
